A Power of Attorney (POA) is a legal document that authorizes one person to perform specified actions on another’s behalf. The person authorizing is the principal whereas the one who acts is in most cases the attorney
In order to create a POA in Turkey, it is required that a public notary prepare the document. If the Power of Attorney is drafted overseas and is to be executed in Turkey, it has to be apostilled before it can be accepted.
